Pune MLA’s Nephew Arrested After SUV Hits Bike

Mayur Mohite, nephew of NCP MLA Dilip Mohite Patil, was arrested after his SUV collided with a bike, killing 19-year-old Om Bhalerao.
- The accident occurred on the Pune-Nashik highway when Mohite’s SUV was reportedly driving on the wrong side, according to Free Press Journal.
- Eyewitnesses reported that the bike was hit head-on and the riders were flung to the roadside, leading to Bhalerao’s death, as per The Indian Express.
